The Jamesons

The Jamesons are creating quite a stir wherever they play with their blend of traditional music and contemporary songs.

The duo of Barret Hadley and Sharon Hill initially formed in the late 90's to fulfil a two month contract in Malta playing six nights a week, three shows a night. This experience was to underpin the tightness of their set today, which combines traditional tunes with poignant lyrics that question the fabric of our society without ever losing sight of the fact that they are there to entertain.

The Jamesons have just released their first album 'The Jamesons'. This has attracted considerable interest with a number of the tracks receiving airtime on radio folk shows. The album features ten tracks, of which six are self penned. As well as playing live on a regular basis the duo have been getting an increasing amount of media exposure.

The future sees The Jamesons working on a second album as well as continuing to play at clubs, pubs and festivals.
