Barret Hadley first became interested in folk music at the age of sixteen when taken to a folk club in the Midlands. Since then he has performed all over the UK, Europe, and Scandinavia. He has performed with artists such as Shane Magowan, Ron Kavanagh and Robert Plant. He is at home playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, whistles and bodhron whilst his songs tell stories ranging from inner city decay, war, pick pockets and famine to comical observations of daily life. He has performed live broadcasts for both radio and television as well as appearances at festivals in both this country and in Scandinavia.
